From what you're describing I'm assuming you're on an Xbox Series X or Series S console. The Xbox One edition had an issue where sometimes the game may not recognise a DLC is installed. I am not sure who to make the recipient in a new thread, so I am just replying here and will hopefully get a response as my issue is somewhat related.Ĭlick to expand.I think I understand the issue and a potential fix as a similar issue occurs on the Xbox One Edition.

I select it, install it, watch the progress bar fill up as if it's installing it but still says app not installed when I go back and find it again. And when I go back and find it in the xbox store and select it, it just once again just shows that I own it, and tells me "app not installed".Ī response would be very much appreciated it. When I get there though, Airports is still in the available column, not installed, doesn't show up in-game. Cities Skylines Remastered Airports immediately appears above that in the list of 'recently installed' items, which takes me directly back to the game's main screen when I select it.

The download progress bar quickly fills up to 100% and the item disappears from the queue. But after choosing install it takes me to the queue where that DLC gets ready to download, showing that it is 10.1 MB, and then it appears to download. Up to that point, everything is normal and goes the way it always does, like any other download. Then it takes me next screen where I select it for download, where I have to check the box for that download, after which it says "Will install" next to the checked box, and then choose install. Select manage, takes me to the next screen where it says "App not installed" just under the title, selecting it brings up the option to 'install on internal storage', which I do. Selecting the Airports remastered DLC from the xbox store, it tells me "You own this", and there is an option to "manage" as with any other game or DLC purchased there. The icon for Airports appears on the right hand side of the main screen where DLCs available for the remastered version appear, with the DLCs you have currently installed just below that. Anyway, the issue is that the DLC will not download. Bought the remastered version of the Airports DLC yesterday, which I didn't have previous to downloading the remastered version of the game. However, that is not the issue I'm experiencing now. That is understandable since there simply doesn't yet seem to be a remastered version of that DLC available. I experienced the same as many others, having bought skyscrapers shortly before downloading the remastered version to find it wasn't there.
